Corporate Update: WIN Metals Limited Expands Gold Asset Portfolio
WIN Metals Limited has completed the acquisition of the fully permitted Princess Royal Gold Mine and its surrounding tenure, thereby enriching its Radio Gold Project portfolio. The newly incorporated asset lies roughly 80 km southwest of the existing Radio mine, situated in the southern region of Western Australia’s Yilgarn Craton. This expansion not only broadens the geographic footprint of the project but also introduces several satellite prospects that can be leveraged for future development scenarios.
Asset Profile and Recent Exploration Results
The Princess Royal mine is noted for its history of high‑grade production. Recent reconnaissance sampling across the surrounding tenure has yielded encouraging results:
- Rock‑chip samples at Hill End and Battler West returned gold grades of up to 5.6 g t⁻¹ and 4.6 g t⁻¹ respectively.
- Battery sand samples from Great Battler recorded grades up to 1.6 g t⁻¹.
These data indicate the presence of additional mineralisation within the wider area, suggesting that further exploration could uncover economically viable deposits.
Planned Development Activities
WIN Metals has already approved a comprehensive work programme for the Princess Royal site. Key forthcoming activities include:
- Drill Program – A drill plan is currently being developed to test the high‑grade targets identified in the reconnaissance work.
- Systematic Sampling – A systematic sampling campaign of the Great Battler battery sands will be undertaken to better define grade distribution and metallurgical characteristics.
- Desktop Study – An ongoing desktop study of historic exploration data aims to consolidate information for the satellite prospects within the tenure package.
These initiatives are designed to maximize the optionality and scale of the Radio Gold Project.
Transaction Details
The acquisition was financed through a cash payment to the seller, coupled with a royalty arrangement that will be triggered by gold production from the Princess Royal asset. The tenure package includes one mining lease and two prospecting licences, all of which are in good standing.
Strategic Focus
WIN Metals reiterates its commitment to advancing a diversified portfolio of precious and critical mineral assets. By targeting exploration and development activities that align with its strategic objectives, the company aims to deliver sustainable, long‑term shareholder value. Further updates will be provided as drilling commences at Princess Royal and as additional work progresses across the broader Radio Gold Project area.
