Corporate Update on Share‑Buyback and Sustainability Leadership
Symrise AG has announced the continuation of its share‑buyback programme, reporting that between 31 August and 4 September 2026 the company repurchased 143 000 shares. The cumulative total of shares bought since the programme commenced on 2 February 2026 amounts to approximately 3.8 million, representing about one‑tenth of the company’s share capital. Purchases were executed exclusively through recognised stock exchanges or a multilateral trading system by a credit institution appointed by the company. The average price per share during the reporting period remained close to the 92‑93 Euro range, with a slight downward trend noted as the programme progressed.
In addition to the buy‑back update, Symrise confirmed the appointment of Carolina Gioscio as its new Chief Sustainability Officer, underscoring the firm’s ongoing focus on environmental and social governance. The appointment comes at a time when the company’s shares have been noted for an upward trend following a previous decline, suggesting market confidence in its strategic direction.
These developments illustrate Symrise’s commitment to shareholder value through the buy‑back programme while simultaneously advancing its sustainability agenda.
