Corporate News – Corporate Governance & Financial Disclosure
The Board of Directors of Premier Polyfilm Limited (PPL) has formally approved the unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter ended 30 September 2026. The approval followed a limited engagement by the statutory auditors, who confirmed that the financial statements were prepared in accordance with the applicable accounting standards and listing regulations. Importantly, the auditors did not issue an audit opinion, indicating that the scope of the review was narrower than a full audit but that no material misstatements were identified.
In addition to the financial reporting, PPL has submitted a confirmation certificate in accordance with Regulation 74(5) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Depositories and Participants) Regulations for the same quarter. This certificate confirms that the dematerialisation and registration of the company’s securities with the relevant depository participants have been duly completed, thereby ensuring compliance with de‑registration and ownership‑record requirements.
A separate performance analysis of PPL’s share price over the past five years shows that an earlier investment in the company’s shares would have yielded a modest appreciation. Using historical closing prices, the report estimates a return of just over twenty percent for a hypothetical investment made in October 2021, with the current share price reflecting only a small increase relative to that period.
Collectively, these disclosures give stakeholders a comprehensive view of PPL’s recent financial position, regulatory compliance activities, and historical share performance. The filings demonstrate adherence to statutory reporting requirements and transparency in securities administration, while the performance analysis offers useful context for investors assessing the company’s long‑term growth trajectory.
