NatWest Group plc has completed a series of share repurchase transactions during July 2026 as part of its ongoing buy‑back programme. The bank bought ordinary shares from the London branch of UBS AG on several dates between 20 and 24 July, executing the purchases across the London Stock Exchange and the CHIX and BATE trading venues. The repurchased shares were subsequently cancelled, thereby reducing the number of shares held in treasury.

After the transactions, NatWest reported holding approximately 178.8 million shares in treasury and about 7.96 billion ordinary shares outstanding, excluding treasury shares. The company disclosed that the total number of voting rights in the company amounted to 31.85 billion, information that shareholders may use for disclosure purposes in accordance with regulatory guidance.

The buy‑back activity is part of an ongoing programme announced earlier in the year. It reflects NatWest’s focus on returning capital to shareholders while supporting liquidity and share‑price stability. The transactions were disclosed in compliance with the company’s filing obligations in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Full details of trade volumes and prices are available in accompanying market‑abuse regulation documents.
