Emerson Electric Co. (ASX: EMR) Updates Exploration and Resource Drilling Activities for Q1 2026
Emerson Electric Co. released a comprehensive update of its exploration and resource drilling activities for the quarter ended 31 March 2026. The update highlighted continued progress across its Australian and Cambodian operations, noting that several drilling programmes have produced high‑grade intersections that reinforce the continuity of mineralisation at key deposits.
Australian Operations – Western Australia
At the Dingo Range Gold Project, infill and extension drilling was undertaken at the Boundary and Neptune deposits. Significant intercepts, including several tens of metres at gold grades exceeding five g/t, were reported from multiple drill holes. These results support the existing mineral resource estimate and suggest that both open‑pit and underground extensions remain viable.
Cambodian Operations – Memot and Okvau Projects
The Cambodian portfolio advanced through a close‑spaced RC infill programme at the Memot Gold Project, delivering numerous high‑grade intervals, with some intercepts featuring gold concentrations well above the 1.2 g/t cut‑off. The drilling is aimed at tightening resource parameters such as ore loss and dilution, which will feed into the forthcoming reserve estimate.
At Okvau, drilling on the north‑east portion of the reserve shell has produced additional high‑grade intersections, reinforcing confidence in the current open‑pit and underground resources.
ESG Commitments
The update reiterated Emerson’s focus on environmental and social governance. The company confirmed its commitment to carbon‑neutral operations in Cambodia and adherence to international standards at its Australian sites, underscoring its long‑term sustainability strategy.
Implications for Portfolio Growth
The drilling outcomes provide further evidence of the projects’ growth potential and support the ongoing development of Emerson’s portfolio. By demonstrating consistent high‑grade intersections and tightening resource parameters, Emerson positions itself to pursue future capital allocation and expansion opportunities while maintaining a disciplined approach to environmental stewardship.
