CVS Health Expands Seasonal Influenza Vaccine and Testing Services for 2026‑2027
CVS Health announced that its pharmacy and MinuteClinic locations will now provide updated influenza vaccines for the 2026‑2027 season. The company highlighted that more than sixty percent of consumers surveyed are likely to receive a flu shot, a figure similar to previous years, and noted that most of those intending to vaccinate plan to do so by the end of October. CVS emphasized the convenience of its services, offering walk‑in appointments as well as online scheduling through its website, the MinuteClinic site, and the CVS Health app. In addition to vaccination, select pharmacies and clinics are expanding testing options for influenza and COVID‑19, with pharmacists in several states authorized to test and treat eligible patients on the same visit. The company underscored its commitment to providing connected, preventive care across its extensive network of retail pharmacies and medical clinics, aiming to support patients through seasonal respiratory illnesses and beyond.
