China Shipbuilding Industry Co Ltd Announces Key Developments
China Shipbuilding Industry Co Ltd has made several significant announcements regarding its subsidiaries’ projects and technological advancements.
Wuhan Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Co Ltd, has signed a contract for the construction of one 9200DWT stainless steel chemical ship and has commenced work on another 25900DWT stainless steel chemical ship. Additionally, Wuhan Shipbuilding has signed a contract with Shanghai Sinopec Shipping and Jiangsu Changhong Chemical Transportation for the construction of one 9200DWT stainless steel chemical ship.
The company’s subsidiary Dalian Shipbuilding has delivered three ships, including one 11.5 million-ton Aframax oil tanker and two repaired ships.

Meanwhile, the company’s subsidiary Beihai Shipbuilding has started constructing three 21 million-ton ammonia dual-fuel bulk carriers.

- Ship 2: Ammonia dual-fuel bulk carrier, 21 million tons
- Ship 3: Ammonia dual-fuel bulk carrier, 21 million tons
The company has also made a breakthrough in the development of megawatt-level magnetic levitation high-temperature heat pump units. This technology is expected to provide more efficient and reliable high-temperature heat supply for industrial applications.
