Adnoc Submits $19 Billion Takeover Bid for Santos
Adnoc, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi government, has submitted a takeover bid for Santos, an Australian liquefied natural gas (LNG) producer, valued at $19 billion.
The bid was made in response to Santos’ fluctuating stock price over the past year, which reached a 52-week high of $8.18 AUD in July 2024 and a low of $5.20 AUD in April 2025.
